Columbus rookie Zack Werenski has been having a bad month. Earlier in April, he missed several games because of a lower body injury. On Sunday in the first period of a playoff game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Werenski had a Phil Kessel shot come high and catch him in the eye.
Werenski skated off, leaving a trail of blood on the ice. He would get stitched up in the locker room and finish the game, missing just the second period. While he was in the trainers room, he took a second to snap a selfie.
