(Luckey, OH) More details about the cleanup of a former nuclear weapons site in Luckey are coming out.
Wood County commissioners met with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to discuss the beryllium cleanup, which could take more than a decade and cost between $100 million and $240 million.
The work is set to begin this summer, with some of the contaminated soil being trucked to a landfill in Northwood and to a more specialized dump in Monroe, Michigan.
