Two Ohio Republicans Hold Firm On Healthcare Push

(Washington, DC)   Two Ohio Republicans are not backing down from their stance to vote against their party's effort to repeal the Affordable Care Act, despite a warning from President Trump.

Representatives Jim Jordan and Warren Davidson are part of a group of 20 conservative House Republicans who say they will vote against the American Healthcare Act.  Trump has warned Republicans standing against him that their resolve could cost them their seats in Congress.

Both Jordan and Davidson argue the Republicans' plan would not do away with the parts of Obamacare that voters want repealed. Jordan told MSNBC that Republicans need to do what they promised voters and continues to push his own legislation that would first repeal Obamacare, then replace the proposal in a separate bill.
