WASHINGTON D.C. - A U.S. Senator from Ohio is expressing concern about reports that sanctions on Russia could be lifted.
Deeply concerned is how Senator Rob Portman describes his feelings on suggestions that sanctions against Russia could be lifted. But that's without resolving what Portman calls unacceptable and hostile actions that caused the sanctions in the first place. Portman released a statement urging President Trump to reject this course of action. Portman is also calling on the Senate to codify those sanctions into law.
