The Toledo Police Department may soon accept the loan of an MRAP from the federal government. MRAP stands for Mine Resistant Ambush Protected and the vehicle according to Chief Kral would be used to assist in high risk operations. The MRAP could be used to transport medics in and out of those high risk situations. Kral also said the vehicle would be parked 99.9 percent of the time and would be repainted to appear as a rescue vehicle.
Council must approve the legislation. I want to know how you feel about it though.
