The city has announced its' new traffic control program, Vision Zero, which aims to reduce traffic deaths to zero by 2031. The program is in operation in a number of cities nationwide including Portland, Chicago. and New York City which saw an uptick in traffic fatalities despite the program being in operation for a number of years.
