According to an article in The Blade Lucas County Democrat Executive Committee endorsed Polly Taylor-Gerken for Toledo School Board Monday night. It was unanimous. She expected to be endorsed some months ago but refused to submit a credit score. The party then changed it's requirement to forego a credit check unless the job required one.Ms Taylor-Gerken is the wife of County Commissioner Pete Gerken.
