According to a Blade editorial Gary Johnson, a suspended Toledo city councilman, should not show up at council meetings again. Johnson appeared in a Zoom meeting last week and another sitting council person alerted the staff and Johnson was removed from the meeting. According to a release from Johnson "I have an absolute right to attend the meetings of the City Council to understand what is going on. It is my intent when I am acquitted to return to the local political scene. To that end I want to see how council is functioning now."
Should Johnson be allowed to attend meetings or is he a distraction?
