The Cyberspace Administration of China has unveiled a new cell phone app that allows users to report citizens for what's being termed "mistaken opinions" and "misinformation". According to the party "...people with ulterior motives have spread historically nihilistic false statements online....slandering and denying the Party, in an attempt to confuse people's thinking."
The agency went a step further suggesting "We hope that most internet users will play an active role in supervising society......and report harmful information."
