Dr Seuss Enterprises has decided to take six of his works out of print because of racial stereotypes. “Mulberry Street” and “If I Ran the Zoo” were on the list, along with “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”, “Green Eggs and Ham” were some of the top selling books on Amazon following the announcement. According to a statement from the Dr Seuss Enterprises which oversees the author's works “Dr. Seuss Enterprises listened and took feedback from our audiences including teachers, academics and specialists in the field as part of our review process. We then worked with a panel of experts, including educators, to review our catalog of titles."
