WATCH: Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz Gives Scott His Annual Flu Shot

With flu season quickly approaching, I highly encourage you to get your flu shot now. Even if you've never had the flu or even if you caught the flu after getting a shot, doctors say it still has many benefits. Should you catch the flu, it may not be as serious and you will be better protected against flu-related complications. 30,000 to 36,000 flu-related deaths occur during an average flu season, according to the Toledo Lucas County Health Department. So, today, to demonstrate how quick and easy it is to be vaccinated, Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz came in to give me my annual flu shot (along with health department staff). We also spent our Wednesday with Wade talking about lead poisoning, the regional water authority vote, and the World Series game. Scroll down to watch on Facebook Live.
