A recent poll taken after the big Iowa Steak Fry has Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren taking a lead from supposed front runner Joe Biden. The poll puts Biden just percentage points behind the surging Warren and still quite a bit ahead of third place Bernie Sanders. All of the remaining candidates were in attendance at the annual event that saw tens of thousands of pounds of meat barbecued while each one held rallies for their supporters.
The poll in question, the Des Moines Register/ CNN/ Mediacom poll, shows Warren with 22%, Biden at 20%, Sanders at 11% all others in single digits. It's not a big lead for Warren but it has some saying she is the biggest threat to President Trump being reelected.
Former VP Joe Biden for his part says that Trump is afraid that Biden will "beat him like a drum" in the general election. Biden says the reason Trump is looking at Biden's dealing with Ukraine is that he is afraid of Biden winning.
