TARTA head James Gee has been charged with OVI following an incident last Friday night in Waterville, OH. Police reports say Gee was found sitting in his car at his home after they responded to 911 call about a vehicle driving erratically and "hitting things" between Toledo and Waterville. According to reports Gee had "mush mouth" and was unable to pass simple tests, almost falling over at one point. He refused a breathalyzer when taken to the police station and was later driven home by officers. Mr. Gee, his attorney, and the TARTA board are not commenting but the local union calls for the board to remove Gee from his position.
