TOLEDO, Ohio - Owens-Illinois announced Wednesday that it is letting go of 400 employees.
WTOL 11 reports the glass manufacturer is offering 400 salaried workers a voluntary separation. The move affects less than 8% of their global workforce. It's currently unclear if any workers in northwest Ohio will be affected.
The company employs more than 26,000 people at 77 facilities in 23 countries.
