TOLEDO, Ohio - A Rogers High School student has died after being struck by a van.
WTOL 11 reports 16-year-old Romear Cavitt was hit by the vehicle Tuesday morning. The incident happened around 7:30am on Hill and Torrington.
Cavitt was trying to cross the street to get to a bus stop when he was hit by a van driven by a 27-year-old woman. Police say Cavitt wasn't crossing in the crosswalk at the time of the crash.
Investigators are unsure if the driver will be cited in the crash.
