A Toledo Public Schools teacher is being honored as the best educator in Ohio.
Mona Al-Hayani was honored yesterday as the 2019 Ohio Teacher of the Year.
Al-Hayani teaches history and advises the National Honor Society at Toledo Early College High School.
She's now one of 50 finalists for the National Teacher of the Year contest.
