Northwest Ohio can claim some of the safest drivers in the country.
Allstate's annual rankings of cities with the safest drivers ranks the Toledo metropolitan area 66th out of 200 U.S. cities, citing a higher-than-average period between claims. The Akron area has the safest drivers in Ohio, ranking 35th nationwide.
Other Ohio cities making a showing in the top 100 include Dayton at 55th, and Cleveland at 90th.
