(Toledo, OH) A federal judge denies a motion for a former Lucas County official.
Former Lucas County Administrator Laura Lloyd-Jenkins will go on trial alongside her husband next month. A federal judge denied Lloyd-Jenkins' request for separate trials Wednesday, ruling she would not face prejudice from a jury.
Lloyd-Jenkins is accused of lying to investigators about her husband's alleged relationship with an underage girl along with two other pastors involved in a trafficking scheme.
Lloyd-Jenkins has been on house arrest since December.
