(Toledo, OH) Is there a "Toledo talent gap?" A regional study is being launched to find out.
The Toledo regional chamber of commerce is leading the effort to conduct a "talent gap alignment and analysis study."
A steering committee of local government, business, and workforce leaders is being formed to guide work, described as a way to "ensure that education and workforce resources are responsive to local economic conditions-- and safe-guarding long-term regional economic competitivemess and adaptablity."
The chamber of commerce is hiring a national consultant to conduct the study with local input. Lucas County commissioners are being asked to contribute 50-thousand dollars to the effort.
