(Swanton, OH) Swanton will soon see a new senior apartment complex.
The Swanton Planning Commission has given its approval to a site plan for a new senior apartment building on Munson Road, replacing what was originally going to be a 16-lot housing subdivision.
Instead, a two-story, 28-unit apartment building will be constructed on the seven-acre property near some existing apartments. But under state law, the original developers must vacate their original set of plans for the housing development before the new project can move forward.
Spire Development plans to start construction on the new apartment building sometime next year.
