(Stryker, OH) The Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio is under new leadership.
The regional jail board has named interim administrative chief Dennis Sullivan the CCNO executive director, hoping to give the lock-up some stability after the firing of its long-time head.
Board members say they had lost confidence in Jim Dennis, who had been in charge the past quarter-century at Stryker.
Now an attorney is conducting an audit of his actions following an internal investigation. Officials remain mum on exactly what Dennis did to get him dismissed in late June, but at least one board member says Dennis acted on bids for contracts without the CCNO board’s agreement.
