(Maumee, OH) The 160th annual Lucas County fair gets underway today.
The Lucas County Fair in Maumee kicks off today with a kick and queen competition as part of the opening ceremonies at 1 p.m., followed by a beer and wine competition at 7 p.m. and a firefighter challenge at the same time.
Gate admission is free for everyone who attends from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and tomorrow.
Wednesday is senior citizens and veterans day with a Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pull. In between all the 4-H fair judging, Friday will be DARE day, when graduates of the drug prevention program get in free.
There's a cornhole tournament Friday evening, along with three shows each day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from the Air Dogs.
