(Adrian, MI) A former Washington Local Schools board member and superintendent faces sentencing today.
Patrick Hickey could get up to two years in prison after pleading guilty earlier this year to a criminal sexual conduct charge.
Michigan State Police reopened an investigation after a then-teenager came forward alleging she and Hickey engaged in a sexual relationship when he was a teacher and coach in the Addison School district nearly three decades ago. Hickey took a plea deal and resigned from the WLS board of education, admitting to one count of sexual misconduct for groping the 14-year old.
Hickey’s sentencing hearing in Lenawee County court was delayed by a week.
