(Bowling Green, OH) Bowling Green educators will discuss their next steps tonight after a stinging defeat at the polls last month.
There's a meeting set for this evening in Bowling Green to form a community task force to examine the first steps in determining where to go next in a quest to rebuild city schools. A 72-million dollar bond issue failed for the second consecutive election during the May primary, losing by 1500 votes after failing by just 550 last November.
The BG schools superintendent is calling the organizational meeting, hoping to gather more community input and make the public a bigger part of the decision-making process on the next building project.
The original plan called for a consolidated elementary school and renovations to BG high school. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. in the high school performing arts center.
