(Toledo, OH) Toledoans can help one of the people who has kept them safe for years by participating in a bone marrow drive this weekend.
Toledo firefighter Darryl Murphy has been with TFD for 30years, but has been on sick leave for the past year while waiting for a bone marrow transplant.
On Saturday, the fire department will be hosting the 'Do It For Darryl' bone marrow drive from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the city's Toledo Fire Station 6.
The optimal age for donors is 18 to 44 and it takes about 15 minutes to test to be a potential donor.
