TOLEDO, Ohio - It will cost a few dollars more to renew your license plate starting next year.
WTOL 11 reports Lucas County Commissioners approved a fee hike Wednesday, adding $5 to the cost of license plate fees.
Commissioners say the new fee could raise $1.8 million per year and will be put towards bridge and road repairs.
The fee will go into effect starting with 2019 registrations.
