(Toledo, OH) An East Toledo drug and alcohol clinic wants to expand its operations.
Talbot Clinical Services is proposing to add residential treatment services to its current East Toledo clinic. The clinic is seeking a zoning change and special-use permit to build onto the back of its building where it has operated and outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center for more than 30 years.
The residential treatment center would add 16 beds for adult clients from East and North Toledo. The expansion would occur on four land parcels at Main and Euclid.
The proposed residential treatment center would operate around the corner from two daycare centers and a Toledo fire station. The Toledo plan commission will consider the request at its meeting Wednesday.
