(Oregon, OH) The Oregon community will say goodbye to one of their most beloved leaders today.
52-year old Joe Kiss passed away suddenly in his sleep last week at his home in Curtice, a community left in shock by the unexpected passing of the three-term Jerusalem Township trustee.
Kiss also owned the Maumee Bay General Store, Joe's Pizza and Kitchen, and a Subway franchise. The Clay High School graduate also was well-known for giving back to his alma mater, active in at the Oregon city schools athletic department and serving as the head football coach at Fassett Junior High School.
Funeral services are being held at 11 this morning at the Freck Funeral Chapel in Oregon, followed by a burial service at Lake Township Cemetery.
