(Toledo, OH) The immediate futures of two social studies teachers could be decided tonight.
The Washington Local school board will hold a special meeting tonight with personnel actions on the agenda. A pair of male social studies teachers have been under investigation for possible improper communications with students.
No details have been released in the cases of the veteran teachers, but in one situation, the Ohio Department of Education is involved. One teacher was ordered to stay away from campus and student activities, as well as to not erase any past communications with students.
Both Whitmer High School teachers are on paid administrative leave.
