(Bowling Green, OH) Bowling Green is hosting a spring arts walk this weekend.
The BG Art Walk has enjoyed more than a quarter-century of success downtown. There will be more than 30 "walking galleries" featured at businesses offering space to local artists, along with a quilt show, performing artists and a culinary art exhibition.
The art walk features 25 local artists, 20 quilters, and numerous performers, charities, and student artists during the show-- all competing for the top three judges prizes and three People's Choice Awards.
The Art Walk raises money for the Downtown Foundation's flower fund, where 1,000 plants are purchased to fill more than 80 public flowerpots and hanging baskets along downtown BG sidewalks.
The Art Walk runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
