(Toledo, OH) U-T's College of Medicine, and ProMedica are collaborating on a new neuroscience center.
According to a statement released today by the university president, U-T's College of Medicine and ProMedica will join forces in a joint neurosciences center to advance education, research and patient care. The collaboration is meant to address gaps and care issues in the current system.
The effort is to expand the future number of neurology specialists to better treat patients across the region suffering from a stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinsons disease and other neurological disorders.
A three-story neuroscience center is being built on the Toledo Hospital campus next to I-475. The new center is set to open later this month.
