Suspect in CMU Shooting Remains At-Large

MT. PLEASANT, Michigan - Two people are dead after a shooting Friday at a dorm on the campus of Central Michigan University. 

WTOL 11 reports students were sent an automated message around 9am warning them to stay away from Campbell Hill after reports of shots fired on the 4th floor. Police say two people were killed in the dorm shooting, the victims are not students and they believe the shooting started as a domestic situation.  

The suspect, 19-year-old James Eric Davis Jr. remains at large. He is listed as a sophomore in CMU's student directory. The victims have been identified as the suspect's parents. Police believe Davis is still in the area of Mt. Pleasant and is considered armed and dangerous.
