(Toledo, OH) Today marks the start of Restaurant Week Toledo.
There's a Top 40 list of eateries participating through Sunday in Restaurant Week Toledo, including some long-time locally-owned restaurants like Mancy's Steakhouse and Rosie's Italian Grille. Then there are newer favorites such as Black Kite Coffee and Pies and Barr's Public House.
There's a little something for everyone, with restaurants offering menu specials on everything from coffee and breakfast to lunch or dinner.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Leadership Toledo's youth programs, which offer leadership opportunities for high school students to develop their skills as tomorrow's decision-makers.
There are even special T-shirts for sale, reading "You Will Eat Better in Toledo."
