(Toledo, OH) Toledo Public schools is reaching out to former ECOT students scrambling to continue their education.

There are 288 students living in the Toledo Public Schools district who abruptly had their educations disrupted when the Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow shut down.

TPS counselors and others helped families by sharing options and enroll those who are ready to resume coursework last night at the first of two informational sessions. District officials say former ECOT students can enroll in a nearby school or a TPS magnet school, join online classes at Phoenix Academy, or homeschool.

There is another informational meeting set for Monday at 5:30 p.m. at Waite High School.
