Holiday Travel in Ohio Still Means Construction

(Toledo, OH) Millions of Ohioans are hitting the road and heading to the airport for the holidays.

AAA anticipates 107-million people will likely travel more than 50 miles from home beginning Saturday and running through January 1st.  The majority will travel by car.

The Ohio Department of Transportation reminds motorists they will try to suspend most construction activities around the holiday weekends to alleviate any potential problems.

If you're traveling through the Toledo, Findlay and Cincinnati areas, there will be construction zones along Interstate 75. Construction barrels along I-271 in the Cleveland area will remain in place.
