Governor Kasich Touts Job Creation Record

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Jobs in Ohio are the centerpiece of remarks Friday by Governor John Kasich.

Governor John Kasich is once again talking job growth in Ohio, and how he says it's doubled since he took office.

"I talked years ago about the 'cool factor', about the fact that being cool is a part of this whole economic development. So if you live in Columbus, where's a better place to be than in the Short North or in the Arena District? If you're in Cleveland, over in the Flats. If you're down in Cincinnati, Over The Rhine," Kasich says.

Kasich points to high tech jobs, like IBM, Amazon and Facebook. He says Ohio is missing Google, and predicts there will be movement on that front as well.
