(Grand Rapids, OH) Two big festivals this weekend will celebrate one of fall's tasty treats.
The Grand Rapids Apple Butter Festival features craft vendors, family activities and lots of apple butter on Sunday in the city's downtown on the Wood County side of the Maumee River..
Back across the river, MacQueen Orchards near Holland will host its annual Apple Butter Stir Festival, giving visitors an almost step-by-step tour of the apple butter-making process. Families also can pick apples, ride inflatables and other amusements, play games, and shop for crafts. The event runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
Admission to both festivals is free.
