COLUMBUS, Ohio - Two appeals court judges running for Supreme Court Justice get the formal backing of the Ohio Republican Party.
The Ohio GOP, at their central committee meeting in Delaware County, has voted to endorse Fifth District Appeals judge Craig Baldwin, of Licking County.
"In the legal system, there are lots of issues and they need strong leadership. That's what I'm hoping to provide," Baldwin said.
The state GOP is also endorsing Seventh District Judge Judy DeGenaro, of Mahoning County.
