With municipal court judges retiring in Oregon and Sylvania, multiple candidates are seeking to replace those long-time public servants on the bench.
There are five candidates for the Sylvania municipal court bench, all of them attorneys with extensive experience in criminal defense and family law. Four candidates are seeking the judgeship in Oregon Municipal Court.
Maumee Municipal Court judge Gary Byers is the only one seeking to retain his robes, but even he has opposition in November from Daniel Hazard.
