Tiffin Carnival Nation's Second-Largest Event

(Tiffin, OH) A Northwest Ohio community will host the nation's second-largest high school cross country event tomorrow. 

Tiffin will more than double its population Saturday, when the gun fires on the 43rd annual Tiffin Carnival cross country invitational at Hedges Boyer Park. 

315 schools will be represented, with more than 4,500 boys and girls runners in 15 high school races, with another 2,700 athletes competing in six junior high and two elementary school races. 

By the time you add parents, coaches, and fans, Tiffin's population will more than double-- 20,000 people total visiting the Seneca County seat. In addition to Ohio schools, runners from Michigan, Indiana, West Virginia and Pennsylvania will compete and use more than 10,000 cups and buy 4,500 race T-shirts.
