Sylvania Library to Close Monday

(Sylvania, OH) One of Sylvania's libraries will close today-- for about a year.

The Sylvania library branch near Northview High School is about to get a big facelift-- involving renovations and a 4,000-square foot expansion.

New additions will include a maker-space with a 3-D printing station, a technology and business center, a quiet area with a fireplace, a self-serve vending area, and an expanded children's zone.

The $7 million project is the first renovation there in nearly 30 years for a library first built in the 1950's.

Officials are encouraging patrons to go to the new King Road library or facilities in Holland and West Toledo until the library reopens in the fall of 2018.
