(Toledo, OH) Construction is set to begin on the Anthony Wayne Trail Gateway in Toledo.
City officials broke ground Tuesday on the entrance into downtown. The four-point-four million-dollar plan calls for shifting the road closer to the Erie Street Market to avoid a merge point with traffic off I-75.
There will also be new landscaping and public artworks along the road. Most of the construction will be done by Thanksgiving.
