Chelsea Bruck Murder Suspect Expected To Testify

(Monroe, MI) Testimony resumes today in a murder trial involving the 2014 disappearance and death of Chelsea Bruck.

Prosecutors are expected to rest their case this week, then the defense may ut Daniel Clay on the stand to testify in his own defense. Prosecutors and police contend Clay beat Bruck to death, and dumped her body in a remote area of Monroe County after a Halloween party.

Prosecutors also played a taped interview with Clay, where he defended her death as an accident, the result of rough sex. Clay also told detectives he panicked and left Bruck's body in a wooded lot.
