Pastors In Human Trafficking Case To Face Judge

(Toledo, OH) Two Toledo pastors are scheduled to face a federal judge today, accused of sex trafficking children. Cordell Jenkins and Anthony Haynes have been held without bond since their arrests last week for sexual exploitation and obstruction of justice charges.

Jenkins is the pastor of Abundant Life Ministries on Glendale Avenue. Haynes leads the congregation at Greater Life Christian Center on Detroit Avenue.

The two ministers have been locked up in protective custody at the Lucas County jail since their arrest last Friday. The men are accused of having sex with minors at local motels-and Pastor Jenkins allegedly had sex in his church office.

Court documents show FBI agents have surveillance video of a local Red Roof Inn of Jenkins entering and leaving a room. Federal agents raided each man’s home and Abundant Life Ministries church, but details of the evidence collected at each location remains sealed.
