Ohio Governor Criticizes GOP Health Plan

(Columbus, OH) Ohio's governor is speaking out against the Republicans' plan to overhaul Obamacare.

Governor John Kasich openly questioned the proposal Monday, saying it would hurt Ohio families by scaling back funding for Medicaid.  His comments came on the heels of a report by the nonpartisan Center for Community Solutions, which says the GOP healthcare plan would cost Ohio more than $25 billion by 2025.

The  think tank contends the plan would not keep up with cost increases and might force the state to cut back services or to cover fewer people.
