TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo Police were called to break up a fight that broke out in the middle of a high school basketball game.
WTOL 11 reports the fight broke out in the middle of the Bowsher vs. Scott game Thursday night at Bowsher High School. Witnesses say Bowsher's Dalonte Brown was fouled hard during the game and the fight broke out shortly after.
The game was cancelled and the school's gym was cleared out. No word on any arrests or if the game will be made up.
UPDATE: Dalonte Brown hospitalized in what has been called "serious condition." Reports indicate two Toledo Police officers were assaulted trying to break up the fight. At least two suspects taken into custody, but charges have yet to be filed.
