Timothy and Esten Ciboro Found Guilty On All Charges

TOLEDO, Ohio - A Lucas County jury Friday afternoon delivered guilty verdicts to Timothy and Esten Ciboro.

Timothy Ciboro was found guilty on ten counts: three counts of child endangerment, two counts of kidnapping and five counts of rape. On two of the rape charges, the jury also found the victim was under the age of 10 at the time of the crime.

Esten Ciboro was found guilty on seven counts: two counts of child endangerment, two counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape.

The men were accused of abusing Timothy's 13-year old stepdaughter, keeping the child chained up in the basement.

Judge Linda Jennings sentenced Timothy Ciboro to five life sentences without parole and 41 years. Esten Ciboro was sentenced to three life sentences and 38 years.  Both men will also be classified as tier three sex offenders for the rest of their lives.

Addressing the Ciboros before their sentencing, Judge Jennings called them "the most depraved, demented, evil people that I have ever seen." She also said Timothy and Esten Ciboro had "distorted the word of God for your own evil purpose."
